Customer Supplied Parts Policy

• We are responsible only for proper installation, not part quality, fitment, or lifespan.
• No warranty or free follow-up service is provided.
• Customers must supply all required components (hardware, fluids, gaskets, etc.).
• If parts do not fit, labor time will still be billed.
• Fitment is checked when possible, but issues may arise during installation.
• Cosmetic or quality issues are not our responsibility.
• Issues must be reported within 24 hours or a new diagnostic is required.

Diagnostics and Repairs

• Diagnostics are strongly recommended before repairs. (Call Out Fee) If waived, we do not guarantee repair outcomes or provide free follow-up diagnostics. If time allows we will offer Diagnostics for $100 or we will schedule a different time to offer diagnosis. Payment will be required prior to diagnosis.
• We do not rely on third-party diagnoses.
• Additional issues may surface during repairs, especially with electrical or fluid systems. Mobile Mechanic Nearby will ONLY rely on our own diagnosis for jobs.

Estimates and Services Adjustments

Quotes, timelines, and warranties may change based on vehicle condition at time of service.

Pre-Purchase Inspections

• Visual inspections only (no disassembly).
• Deposits are non-refundable if the vehicle sells before inspection.Deposits may transfer within 1 week (within 5 miles).
• Mobile Mechanic Nearby will attempt to contact salesperson and customer for any and all updates- customers do NOT need to be present for PPI if sales person is available.
• Inspections focus on Mechanical Reliability and Safety, not cosmetics. Mobile Mechanic Nearby will call out big issues but we do not perform appraisals at this time.

Payment & Fees

• Full payment is required before vehicle/key release.
• Late balances may incur legal interest after 1 week.
• Key delivery (if needed): $75 fee minimum. If you are not within our preferred service area we will bill the time as if it is a regular job- $100 minimum with a $50 surcharge for every 30 minutes spent driving.

Appointments & Cancellations

• No refunds for missed or canceled appointments.
• 48 business hours required for rescheduling.

General Terms

• We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
• Clients agree to hold Mobile Mechanic Nearby harmless from damages or liabilities.
• Legal matters will be handled via third-party arbitration.
